Kim Shield 2012

Mirage patrol took part in the annual Kim Shield which happens once the year and this year was the time that they did it in an urban area. this took place on the 21st to the 22nd of April. this was our first time that we have taken part in this competition and we came fourth over all and was the top in the North Rand District. I also want to say well done to all the patrol member that took part in this competition.

Paintball

Mirage patrol did a patrol activity today at Paintball City in Germiston. Thank you to all the patrol members that joined me for the paintball, that we did today and I hope you all had loads of fun and hopefully we can go sometime and do it again. I think that this was a clever team building exercise for the patrol and thank you to the troop scouters for joining us for this activity.

 

CANSA Relay for life

Mirage patrol took part in the CANSA Relay for life on the 9th of March. We were very proud to have the opportunity to help the CANSA organisation, this all took place at Jeppe High School for boys and i am sure that all the scouts that came that night had a great time.

BP Sunday 26 February

Mirage patrol took part in the annual BP Sunday held at Sahati School on Sunday the 26 of February. I am looking forward to a great year. I would like to say well done to our troop for winning the award for having the best website in the district.

JotaJoti 2011

4 members of our Patrol were able to attend. We enjoyed this years event as Hathi brought 2 computers and each was able to be connected to Internet. We also learnt about the "World Clock" which made contacting other Scout much easier. Jacala was also able to connect using his Blackberry.

New Scouts join our Patrol

Our Patrol is growing (two more Scouts join our Patrol).
They were previously Cubs in our Cub Pack.
